My Calling to Ministry
Below is a video explaining my calling to ministry. It shares the following
1. I am the first pastor among 6 generations of Adventist
2. The reason I am called is because God called me through a dream
3. God led me back to Him through preaching His Word
Brief Summary of Calling
I was called to ministry at the age of 12. I grew up Adventist but never took it seriously until I had a dream that changed my life. God revealed to me two directions my life could take. All that the world had to offer, I could have. The other alternative was to have nothing and yet gain heaven. Even at a young age, I knew which direction my life was heading.
The next day, I decided to know the Lord for myself. I sought all I could get my hands on to know Jesus. I read my Bible and the Desire of Ages. These books transformed my life and I gave my life to Him.
Two individuals helped guide me on my journey. The first was my grandfather. He sat down with me and taught my about God's love and prophecy. The second person was my pastor, JP O'Connor. He led me to accept Christ into my life again and choose to go into ministry.
Lastly, but most importantly, God is the one who called me to ministry. He spoke to me through a dream and through His Word. I am serving as a pastor today because God has brought me here. To God be the glory!
