My Background

This page shares about my wife, child, family and my upbringing.

My Family

My wife is the most supportive person in who I am and to my calling. Pashal is passionate about family, loves children, and loves engaging in ministry. She has a degree in Nutrition Dietetics and a masters in Public Health. She currently works for the Georgia Health Department with WIC. We have a 2 year old son, named Moses.

The most interesting characteristic about her is that she is as extroverted as extroverts come. She will introduce herself to new people, join mom groups online, and get familiar with where she lives. The most important quality is that she loves the Lord.

My Upbringing

I was blessed to have both of my parent’s families live in the same town. Everyone was at most 10 minutes away. We often gathered together and enjoyed time with each other.

My Parents

I have two amazing parents, David and Barbara. My mom is still Adventist while my dad is not. They supported me in various ways but most importantly, with my decision to pursue ministry.

About My Brother Chris

You might be wondering if I had any siblings. I have two brothers, both older than me. Chris, the oldest, looks nothing like me. You’ll understand why I say this in a moment. He works in an area of cyber security, has a wife and child, and is very successful. His challenges really helped shape and develop him into the person he is today.

About My Brother Nick

My other brother is Nick. He is my twin. (We are not identical but we sure look it! Hence, why I said Chris looks nothing like me. The contrast between my two brothers is drastic.) We grew up really close to each other.  Today, he is an electrician, married, and has two children. He deeply loves the Lord and loves to share how Christ is Our Righteousness.

Intro to Calling

God worked through individuals in my family to eventually prepare me for my conversion experience and calling to ministry. For that, you will have to read more about in “My Calling.”
